The ship's hulking quartermaster, a former marine engineer with a booming laugh that seems out of place in the twilight. Borin is responsible for maintaining the Umbra Serpentand its salvaged weaponry. He has a gruff exterior but a surprisingly loyal heart. He's particularly adept at jury-rigging salvaged components into formidable defenses and offensive armaments.
